1. Smartphone, Stolenphone
One of our talented clients was conducting a photo shoot this past year when he noticed his Smartphone went missing. Once confirming the phone was stolen, the photographer anxiously called our Photography Insurance Problem Solver, Karen Stetz. Because the Smartphone was properly scheduled and included in his Photography Equipment Floater Policy, our client received a replacement Smartphone matching his previously swiped device. Problem Solved.
2. When “For Sale!” Fraudulently Turns Into “For Free”
One of our clients occasionally sells very expensive photography equipment. When designing a custom insurance plan for this particular client, our photography insurance agent spotlighted this added exposure, and suggested he add Forgery Coverage for an additional premium. Fortunately, the client agreed. Later that year, the client sold an $8,000 piece of photography equipment and received a fraudulent form of payment in return. 3. A Mistake, Thanks to a Snake
Just after securing coverage, one client was in the middle of a mountain shoot when a snake suddenly appeared. Because this item was properly listed and covered under the client’s photography equipment policy, the insurance carrier paid for a replacement. Problem Solved.
