“ I’m a college photographic art student, I have limited money and I have to add equipment as I can afford. So when I have an opportunity to get a paying photographic gig and have to travel out of state with my equipment, which has happened four times in the last two years, the APA resources and the confidence I have that if something is damaged in travel or stolen I can still get the job done. Credibility and showing up with all the required equipment in this industry is as important as taking a good image. My first paid gig two years ago was offered to me the day before the client wanted me to travel out of state. I had no idea what I needed to cover my equipment or where to find equipment if something was lost or broke. I had just joined APA so I called Karen Stez.
